Love
Have you ever met or do you know people who are difficult to like let alone love? Yet we are commanded to “Love one another” as Christ loved us and gave himself for us. How do we do that? First let me say – it is not easy. I’m reminded of Cory Ten Boom, who when she met her former concentration camp prison guard extended her hand in forgiveness and love. Her sister had died as a result of the treatment of that prison guard. We have to let Christ be our example. When you find it too difficult, ask Jesus to extend His love through you.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Micah records,Paul wrote, “Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1-2 (NIV)
Today, let the Love of God be evident to all in your life.
