Light – Dark

When the power is out, do you stumble around in the dark or do you look for a flashlight?  I remember having gone to Carlsbad Caverns on a guided tour as a child.  At one point the guide turned the lights out and it was really dark. I was afraid o move. The guide said if a person lived in total darkness for a period of time, they would be blind.  It takes light to see.  As Christians, we have the light of Jesus and do not live in darkness; however, there is a lost and dying world out there who is living in darkness.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded Jesus when He said, “I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.”  John 12:46 (NKJV)

Today, shine your light for the dark world to see.
