Knocking

When you go to someone’s door and want to get in, generally you knock or ring the door bell.   You would never just open the door and go in unless of course you are family.  That is the way Jesus comes to the lost.  If you are family, He walks into your life and enjoys your presence. If you have never asked Jesus into your life, He is knocking and wants to come in.  He will give you peace, joy and comfort in the knowledge of your salvation.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded, “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”  Revelation 3:14, 20 (KJV)

Today, Jesus is knocking – open your heart to Him.
