Joy

Life has closed in and found you in despair. What happened to your joy?  The enemy of your soul would have you look at your circumstances and not at God.  If you have burdens that are too hard to bear alone, tell them to Jesus.  He cares about the most intimate detail of your life and desires only good for you.  Seek Him.  He came to give you abundant life.  Paul said, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John records, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”  John 10:10 (KJV)

Today, think on the things of Christ – what He has done and that He is your living hope.
