Joy

Do you remember the Joy of the Christmas season?  I often wonder why we can’t experience that joy year-round.  What would it take to have joy during the entire year?  It seems as though the joy of the Christmas season centers around our Lord’s birth.  That same joy can be ours if we will but center our thoughts around Jesus, what He did for us on the cross and how much He loves us.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.” Psalm 5:11 (NIV)

Today, experience the Joy of Jesus and rejoice.
