Hungry

Hungry

The providence of God seems to be always working.  This morning I am
fasting for surgery and cannot eat or drink until some time this afternoon.
So, needless to say, I’m hungry.  It seems that when you can’t eat or drink,
food seems to be ever on your mind.  Then I opened my link to the Bible
and the scripture reminds me to hunger for God’s word.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Matthew recorded Jesus when, “Jesus answered,
“It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that
comes from the mouth of God.”  Matthew 4:4 (NIV)

Today, spend time in God’s word and be filled.
