Hope

How’s your hope?  Is it alive, moving forward and with an expected end.  Hope is one of those things that we can’t see with our physical eyes; but, it is what we believe to be true.  As a Christian, we have a living hope?  How does that work, you ask?  When Christ arose from the dead, He opened the doors of heaven for us to have a new birth into eternal life. That is our living hope.  Because He lives we will live forever with him.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Peter records, “Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3 (HCSB)

Today, rejoice in your living hope.
