When as a child I went fishing and inevitably got my reel in a backlashed
mess, I would hand it to my Dad or Mom. They would always fix my mess
and I could continue fishing. Sometimes, we mess up and things get tied
in knots. We look at the mess and don’t know what to do to fix it; but,
thankfully, we have a Father in heaven who can not only fix our mess but
give us a chance to start over.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “God is our refuge and
strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1 (NIV)
Today, take your mess to the Father, who will help you.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
