Goodness

When was the last time you looked around at the creation?  In Genesis, the Lord created everything and afterwards said it was good. The seasons are so refreshing, only a good God would have thought of changing seasons to give us relief from monotony.  God has given us beautiful trees, mountains, seas and a host of other vistas for us to enjoy.  However, our lives have become so busy, we seem to forget to enjoy them.  Romans declares that the goodness of God leads to repentance.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth. He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.” Psalm 33:4-5 (KJV)

Today, enjoy the goodness of God and the beauty of His creation.
