Good Friday
During the work week, everyone looks forward to Friday. Years ago, there was a special Friday that we refer to as Good Friday? The single event in history that makes this Good Friday special also gives hope to the world. This was not a good Friday for Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Her son was being crucified on a cross on Mt. Calvary. The disciples were confused and troubled to say the least as they expected Jesus to restore the throne of David. What looked like the end and a day of devastation, became the day of deliverance for all mankind. On that Good Friday, Jesus gave his life so that we could be in relationship with and reconciled to God. What appeared to be the end was only the beginning.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Luke records, “And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. (46) And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.” Luke 23:33, 46 (KJV)
Today, experience the greatness of Jesus finished work on the cross. Trust Jesus and be reconciled to God.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
Remember God Loves you and I Do Too.
Jesus is coming – are you ready?
