Gifts

When you give someone a gift, what are your expectations?  Do you ever intend to get it back? The very nature of a gift is that you give someone something that you either know they want or you want them to have.  God has given us gifts and.calls us to use them in His service.  Paul said, God will never take those gifts and calling back.  In other words when God calls you unto Himself, He will never reject you.  Additionally, after He called you, He gave you gifts to be used.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Paul wrote, “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable [for He does not withdraw what He has given, nor does He change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call]. Romans 11:29 (AMP)

Today, thank God for His calling and gifts – then go out and use those gifts in His service.
