Freedom
As Americans, we enjoy freedom. But, what does freedom mean and how are we to use that freedom? If you believe our founding fathers were men of faith and based their decisions on their faith and the bible, then perhaps our understanding of what real freedom should be would best be defined by God’s word. Paul had some instructions for the Galatians about freedom that would be a good step in the right direction.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” Galatians 5:13 (NIV)
Today, let freedom reign as you serve others humbly in love.
