Experience

I’m sure you have heard the saying, “If we don’t learn from the past experiences
(history) we are destined to repeat it.”  Don’t you wish your children had learned
from your mistakes.  At my age, I wish I had learned more from my parents.  The
one thing that we must learn from others experiences is that we cannot forget God.
He is our life and life to all who will surrender to Him.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Job recorded, “for we were born but yesterday and know
so little; our days here on earth are as transient as shadows. But the wisdom of the
past will teach you. The experience of others will speak to you, reminding you that 
those who forget God have no hope.”  Job 8:9-11 (TLB)

Today, don’t forget God and learn from the experience of others.
