Do you receive encouragement on the job or from your family? How does it make you feel? Do you ever offer encouragement? We all need encouragement to help us thrive; but few ever receive that kind of encouragement. Children especially need encouragement. They are searching for their path in life and when we encourage them, their spirits are lifted as are ours.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.” 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NIV)
Today, encourage someone and be encouraged by God’s eternal encouragement and good hope.
