Do you hear?

Our days are filled with voices speaking to us.  Some important and some not so important.  We each must make decisions as to how we will answer those voices.  Amidst all the noise of each moment in our lives, there is a still small voice calling you to God.  Within each of us, there is that sound of Him gently calling us.  The Psalmist says to “harden not your heart.”  Our hearts become hardened when we turn a deaf ear to the voice of God.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your heart. . . Psalm 95:6-8a (KJV)

Today, take some time to hear God’s voice in your life.  He is gentle and lovingly calling you.
