What do you do when you are in distress? Do you work up your courage and rely upon your own strength? How is that working for you? We have all experienced distress. The hope for us is Jesus He is sufficient for all of our needs and in Him we have peace.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist records, “I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?” Psalm 118:5-6 (KJV)
Today, remember what the angels said to the shepherds, “Fear Not. . .”
