Distress

With all the bills coming in for the Christmas spending and income tax time looming ahead, are you distressed?  What do you do about it?  Worry – has that ever solved your distress?  Most likely not.  The Psalmist had a solution for us when we are distressed.  Try it it works.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “Out of my distress I called upon the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free and in a large place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”  Psalm 118:5-6 (AMPC)

Today, call upon the Lord in your distress.
