Demonstrations

We see demonstrations everywhere.  The news media thrives on covering
various demonstrations.  They seem to talk about them for days – examining
every aspect of who, what, where, when, why and even how.  However, there
are some demonstrations that are never covered by them.  Those include acts
of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience demonstrated by
God’s chosen people.  However, those demonstrations do not go unnoticed by
our Heavenly Father.  We are not home yet; therefore, keep demonstrating
those acts to a lost and dying world.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy
and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility,
gentleness and patience.”  Colossians 3:12 (NIV)

Today, as God’s chosen people, demonstrate compassion, kindness, humility,
gentleness and patience.
