Deliverance

No this is not about the movie.  It is about what God has done in the past and will do again. When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow down to the image set up by King Nebuchadnezzar, they were placing their lives on the line.  However, their trust in God placed them in a situation in which only God was able to deliver them.  How about you, are you faced with a situation in which it requires an act of God to deliver you?  God wants you to trust Him – He is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34).  He loves and cares for you deeply. You are the apple of His eye. (Deuteronomy 32:10)

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Daniel records, “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.” Daniel 3:17-18 (KJV)

Today, trust God for your deliverance.  He is able.
