Days

Each New Year, I remind myself of how fast the previous year passed. My Mom says, “Life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer you get to the end, the faster it goes.”  Days seem to fly by.  The Psalmist reminds us to ask God to teach us to number our days and apply our hearts to wisdom.  Are you wise?  If not, ask God for wisdom.  James records, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”  You see God provides us with everything we need.  All we have to do is ask and trust Him. 

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”  Psalm 90:12 (KJV)
