Counsel

Do you have people in your life to whom you go for counsel?  How did you decide to select those folks for counsel?  Our reasons for selecting certain people for counsel is really important and deserves sincere investigation.  Why?  It is simple really, people without a deep abiding faith in God are unable to give Godly counsel.  Seek those people who will pray with you and turn you toward the Lord for answers.  You see God wants to be your counselor and lead you in the path of righteousness.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist recorded, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” Psalm 1:1-2 (KJV)

Today, if you are in need of counsel, turn to the Lord and let Him lead you.  He so desires to be the Lord of your life.
