Consistency
Consistency
We see inconsistency all around us. How do you feel when you hear someone say or do one thing in public and another in private? Christians have an ultimate responsibility to be consistent. When Paul met with the elders of the church at Ephesus, he affirmed his consistency to preach the same message to Jews and Greeks alike. We have the same responsibility. People are watching us and hoping to see something different in our lives. Whether or not they know it, they are hoping to see Jesus.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “I never shrank back from telling you what you needed to hear, either publicly or in your homes. I have had one message for Jews and Greeks alike—the necessity of repenting from sin and turning to God, and of having faith in our Lord Jesus.” Acts 20:20-21 (NLT)
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
