Clean

When you were younger, did you have to help clean the kitchen after dinner?  I did and there was always a big skillet that seemed to grow in size as the time to cleanse it came closer.  It literally loomed large as if it was about to attack me. Then Mom would say, I’ll clean the skillet – whipped that skillet into size.  In our lives we have a need to be cleansed; but we can’t do the cleansing.  We need Jesus to come in and do the job we can’t do for ourselves.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John wrote, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7  (KJV)

Today, let Jesus do the cleansing for you.
