Burdened

Are you burdened with the cares of this life?  Just know you are not alone.  Jesus was also burdened with the sins of the whole world.  I don’t just mean the sins of those who were alive during His life or even up until now.  He was burdened with the sins of all mankind for all time – until He returns to carry us home to be with Him. Yet, He considered our burdens and said we were to come to Him, learn from Him and He would give us rest for our souls.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Matthew recorded Jesus when He said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”  Matthew 11:28-29 (AMPC)
