Benefit #2 – Healing (Part 1)

Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”  So since God does not lie, we believe His word is true.  Exodus 15:26b says, “. . .for I am the Lord that healeth thee.”  Jesus went about healing everyone who came to Him, of every disease. How could Jesus do this?   Jesus said of himself, “. . .I assure you and most solemnly say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself [of His own accord], unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever things the Father does, the Son [in His turn] also does in the same way.”  (John 5:19) Can we agree God is a healer? – To be Continued

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:  Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;  Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.  Psalm 103:1-5   (KJV)
