Belonging

Have you joined any groups- PTA, Bridge Club, Band Parents, Lions Club etc.?  If you have then you belong to that group.  If you have not joined any groups, you still belong to a family. Those groups are temporal and you will only be a member as long as you live; however, if you are a Christian, then you belong to Jesus.  He bought you with a price most would not pay.  It was His shed blood that purchased you.  Paul said it best.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.” Romans 14:8 (KJV)

Today, rejoice that you belong to Jesus.
