Be The One
When a new situation arises, are you the one to see the good? When disagreements between family or friends arise, are you the one to make peace and point out the good? I wish I could say I always do; but, I don’t. The scripture today reminds us that seeking good is equated to living. We are to seek – attempt to find/look for the good and not evil.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Amos records, “Seek good and not evil, That you may live; So the Lord God of hosts will be with you, As you have spoken. Hate evil, love good; Establish justice in the gate. It may be that the Lord God of hosts Will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.” Amos 5:14-15 (NKJV)
