Ambassador
An Ambassador is an “accredited diplomat sent by a country as its official representative to a foreign country.” We have ambassadors all over the world. Our Ambassadors represent our country to all the foreign countries to where they have been sent. As Christians, we are all ambassadors for Christ. We are Christ’s representative to this lost world. How are you doing with that representation? I don’t know about you; but, I fail many times. The good news is as Paul said, God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing our trespasses to us. Praise God we have been forgiven.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Paul wrote, “that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:19-20 (NKJV)
Today, accept you have been forgiven and let God use you as His ambassador.
