Adoption
The word Adoption comes from the French word “adoptare” which means “to chose for oneself.” As a Christian, you have been adopted into God’s family. You have been chosen and are special. As an adopted child of God, you cannot be disowned. You have been permanently placed into God’s family.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Mark wrote, ” But when the proper time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born subject to [the regulations of] the Law, To purchase the freedom of (to ransom, to redeem, to atone for) those who were subject to the Law, that we might be adopted and have sonship conferred upon us[and be recognized as God’s sons].” Galatians 4:4-5 (AMPC)
Today, act like a child of God and give thanks for your adoption.
