Abide – Part 3
Abide
Your best friend has a close friend who wants to help you with some tasks you are experiencing. What do you do? Do you take your best friend’s recommendation and receive the help you need or do you just wing it on your own. You know that if you wing it, everything will be more difficult. Jesus has provided His Holy Spirit to help us make it through this life. Do you know Him or are you afraid He is spooky? Jesus only wants what is best for us. He knew we would need help in navigating this life to accomplish His will. His Holy Spirit is a gentle sweet spirit that is available for all things. Nothing is too small or to large. He is available to help you at any time. Get to know Him. He waits for you – He longs for you – He LOVES YOU.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John wrote, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” John 15:4 (KJV)
Today, carve out some time to let God’s sweet Holy Spirit love on you and help you.
