Morning Thoughts – A Visit

A Visit

This time of year families get together for a visit. The bonds are
strengthened and memories relived. The same was true when
Jesus came – He came to visit His people and brought the gift of
Salvation. Memories of what the prophets had foretold long
before came to the minds of those, who came to visit Him.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Luke recorded, “Praise the Lord, the
God of Israel, for he has come to visit his people and has redeemed
them. He is sending us a Mighty Savior from the royal line of his
servant David, just as he promised through his holy prophets long
ago—” Luke 1:68-70 (TLB)

Today, visit with Jesus. He would have come for only you if you
had been the only one in need of Salvation.
