Change
Have you heard no one likes change? There are some changes we can enjoy. For instance, when that first cool weather out of the north brings sweet relief from the heat of summer; when we see the face of a newborn added to a family; and perhaps the change of jobs. However, there are some changes that do not bring joy – illness, injury, and the death of a loved one. But as we have all heard – change is inevitable. There is a change that is coming that will forever change the world – that is the rapture of Christians out of this world. At that time, Christians will be changed from this earthly body of corruption that is deteriorating to a heavenly body of incorruptible nature.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:50-52 (KJV)
Today, focus on the change that is soon coming – a change for all eternity. If you have never received Jesus as the Lord and Savior of your life, ask Him to come into your heart, forgive you of your sins and you will receive His new life.
Remember God Loves you and I Do Too.
