The Times

Solomon said, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Sometimes we don’t understand the purpose of the tribulations of this life; however, whether you are a believer or not, God is in control and knows all things.  He is ever present and all powerful. You might wonder then why does he allow tribulations/trials to come into our lives?  I can only respond with what the word of God says.  Jesus said as recorded in John 16:33, These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”  Paul wrote in Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Matthew recorded Jesus when he said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

Today, rest in Jesus, trust Him and Be thankful for His presence during this time.
