Days
Although we just celebrated the new year, it seems as if 2019 went by so quickly. My 95-year-old Mom says, “Life is like a roll of toilet paper, the closer you get to the end, the faster it goes.” At the beginning of each year, I remind myself to make a memory each day and to laugh more. The Psalmist said we should number our days and learn wisdom. What does wisdom mean? Although Micah does not use the word wisdom, he said what I think is the most encouraging description of what wisdom is – “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” (Micah 6:8 KJV)
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist said, “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Psalm 90:12 (KJV)
Today, live justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God. He loves you so very much.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
