Abundant Life

What does abundant life mean to you?  Is it based upon how much money is in your bank account, the size of your home or what kind of car you drive?  When I was growing up, we sometimes visited an aunt, uncle and cousins on the weekends.  They didn’t have much of this worlds goods; however, I considered them to have abundant life.  When we arrived on Friday night, there would be a room full of friends sitting around singing the old time gospel songs, while my aunt played the guitar.  It was because of this family that I came to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior.  They had abundant life and shared it with many.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John recorded Jesus when He said, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”  John 10:10 (KJV)
Today, don’t let the thief steal your abundant life.  Let Jesus give you more abundant life.
