Troubled
King David was troubled during his life. He was pursued by his enemy, cheated on his wife, had the husband of his mistress killed, and attacked by his son, just to name a few of his troubles. Yet in all of these things, we know he was a man after God’s own heart. How does that happen? How does God consider such a man as someone after His heart. All I can say is that our God is a benevolent, loving, forgiving and second chance God. He loves each of us without measure. While that is sometimes difficult to comprehend; nevertheless, it is true.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist wrote, “Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.” Psalm 119:143 (KJV)
Today, take joy in the Lord because He loves you without measure.
Be a Blessing
