Identity

How do you have your identity?  Is it because you are a parent? Is it because of your Job?  Is it because of your relatives?  When we set aside all of those things, who are you really?  What is the thing about you that will last forever?  Fortunately, we have a Father in Heaven with His own identity.  Because He created all things, He is the judge of all things.  He set up the world and all that is with laws to keep things functioning.  He gave us laws to protect and provide for our safety.  He is our King and leader. The purpose of His identity is for our good.  He will save us.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Isaiah recorded, “For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us.” Isaiah 33:22 (KJV)
