Harmony
When I think of harmony, I think of the beautiful voices that blend together for a pleasing sound. As we go through life, we each have the opportunity to pursue what makes for harmony with others. All too often, we criticize and judge another; however, harmony makes for peace in our hearts, spirits and life. It is this harmony we must pursue with all diligence. It is this harmony about which Paul wrote to the Romans and encouraged them to build-up one another. Harmony with others makes for beautiful sounds that are pleasing to God and gives us strength.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, John wrote, “So let us then definitely aim for and eagerly pursue what makes for harmony and for mutual upbuilding (edification and development) of one another.” Romans 14:19 (AMPC)
