Heat

We just experienced the daylight savings time change.  When that happens
down here in Texas, it is like a signal that the heat of summer is on it’s way.
Although, I enjoy all of the seasons, summer is my least favorite, because of
the heat.  But the heat of fiery trials come to each of us individually in various
ways.   When the heat of a fiery trial comes, what do you do?  Jeremiah
encourages us to trust in the Lord and we will have no fear during the trials.
Thank you Lord.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Jeremiah wrote, “But blessed is the one who trusts
in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the
water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails
to bear fruit.”  Jeremiah 17: 7-8  (NIV)

Today, trust in the Lord and He will see you through the heat of your trial.
