Preparation
Preparation
Important events require much preparation. Think about all of the
preparation we spend each year getting ready for Christmas. Can
you imagine how much preparation occurred prior to Jesus’s birth –
Prophets prophesying, Angel announcements, trip to Bethlehem,
searching for a place to stay, and shepherds keeping watch over
their sheep, the star and so much more. All of those preparations
were for us to know Jesus was born for our salvation.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Luke recorded, “And you, child, will be
called the prophet of the Highest; For you will go before the face
of the Lord to prepare His ways, To give knowledge of salvation to
His people By the remission of their sins, Through the tender mercy
of our God, With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;”
Luke 1:76-78 (NKJV)
Today as you prepare for Christmas, think about the preparation
for Jesus’s birth.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing.
Remember God Loves You and I Do Too.
