Morning Thoughts – Love the Lord
Love the Lord
Many years ago, I heard a sermon that encouraged talking to
God, because He is a real person and He loves me. Although,
I had been saved for a while, that night was the first time I told
the Lord I love Him. It was a beautiful moment in which He
talked right back to me. Last night, while attending a bible
study, a song was sung “The Longer I Serve Him.” One of the
verses says “The More I love Him, more Love He bestows.”
Over the years, I have found it to be so true. Have you ever
spent a time with God and just told Him you love Him? He
wants to hear it from you.
Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Matthew recorded, “Jesus said unto
him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with
all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” Matthew 22:37 (KJV)
Today, spend some time with God and tell Him you Love Him.
