Morning Thoughts – United

United

To be united is to be “joined together for a common purpose, or by
common feelings.” We are united in a family for the purpose of loving
and supporting one another. The same is especially true in our Church
family. We join together for the common purpose of loving one another
and those in our sphere of influence as Jesus loved His disciples and
everyone with whom He came into contact and beyond. We are to be
united and accepting of others. When we gossip or “discuss others,” we
do so to the detriment of the entire body.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “But I urge and entreat you,
brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in
perfect harmony and full agreement in what you say, and that there
be no dissensions or factions or divisions among you, but that you be
perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions
and judgments.” 1 Corinthians 1:10 AMP

Today, be united with Christ and love like Jesus loves.
